One of my favorite scriptures is in (2 Timothy 1:7)
which states "For G-d did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a
spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline". The command "FEAR
NOT" appears 365 times throughout the scriptures. Did you ever wonder
why? If you struggle with fear, you are
not alone. According to the Director of the National Institute of
Mental health, anxiety disorders are now the most common mental
illnesses in America, more than twenty million Americans suffered from
some sort of phobia in their life. Hearing that makes one wonder
how and
why?
Fear in itself is
unique ,because it has an object. For example, if you see an
alligator in a lake, my guess is you won't take a swim in that
lake. Being faced with a dangerous animal causes you to feel
fear. You will overcome your fear when the object of that fear
"alligator" in this case, is removed. But what about all other
kinds of fear, like fear of rejection, fear of death, fear of failure? How do we define fear in these cases? One definition I have heard that made sense to me was:
Fear is F- alse
E- vidence
A- ppearing
R-
eal
We all know that the only way Satan can
control us is through deception. Fear is his way of tormenting us to
prevent us from enjoying the life that Yeshua died to give us. In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve feared NOTHING
in the presence of Adonai. Because of the fall we all are born
spiritually dead, and programmed by the world to live independently of
G-d. That is why we struggle with fear, anxiety and worry.
As children of Adonai, He has instructed us through His words to NOT
conform any longer to the pattern of this world so that we will be able
to prove what is His good, and perfect will. (Rom. 12:2)
In (Isa. 8:11-12), Isaiah said: " The L-rd spoke to me with his strong
hand upon me, warning me NOT to follow the ways of this people, He
said: do not call conspiracy everything that these people call
conspiracy, do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it."
Comparison is one of the deadliest traps
especially for us women. When it comes to our body image we let
the world dictate how we should look; even though Adonai created each
one of us unique and beautiful. We compare ourselves to everyone and
everything in this world ,forgetting His word in (Proverbs 31:30 )
which states that "charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting but a
women who fears the L-rd is to be praised".
Fear of rejection and fear of failure are some of the strongest fears
that many of us struggle with. Instead of confronting fear
we spend our lives running from it. Fear of failure basically is
fear of our own weakness. In Luke 5, Yeshua told Peter to go to
the deep, and let down his net. Yeshua also give this command to
Peter in (Matt. 14:29) . Do you really think that Peter was able
to walk on water because he thought he could do it? Think
of Joshua when G-d called him to step up to Moses's position, don't you
think he wondered in his mind how he could do it?
In the story of the lost son that Yeshua spoke about in (Luke 15:11-32)
, the young man was struggling not just with the fact that he wasted
all of his money, but he was struggling with the fear of rejection as
well. As you read through the story, you will find that there is
one thing that he did that changed his life. Verse 17 says: that " he
came to his senses". What does that mean? Well, he knew
that the people who had rejected him were not true friends, and he
would be better off without them. He realized that yes he
disappointed his father, but he knew in his heart that his father still
loved him, and he was right! The privilege we have as the
children of Adonai , is that we have the truth, knowing that we are nothing by ourselves, but everything
in Him. When we fail, it is because of His love and righteousness
that we can confess our failures, and ask for His forgiveness and His
mercy. and if you are wondering what would He say......Here is
His words to you today: " Do not fear for I am with you, do not
anxiously look about you, for I am your G-d. I will strengthen you,
surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with my righteous
right hand."Isa.41:10
As a child growing up in the Middle East, every summer I had a baby
lamb as a pet, part of my duty was to watch for my little lamb so that
he would not stray away and wander into danger. The trick was to keep
him close enough to me, so that in time he could learn my voice, and
recognize it when I call him. Have you ever watched sheep? Not
much to look at. When the scriptures refers to us as sheep, it is
not the most flattering thing either.... Sheep are the most weak and
most vulnerable creatures I know about, yet they possess ONE
lifesaving quality. Once they learn the shepherd's voice, they refuse
to follow anyone else. (John 10:11) says that Yeshua is our
shepherd. He is the good shepherd, and He knows how to tend His
flock. Staying close to Him is the only way to be safe. We can
now sing with David " Even though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me" (Psalm
23:4).
May Adonai Bless you today,
Rita
REMEMBERING
Have you ever wondered if G-D is aware of
your existence ? Or if He knows or even remembers your name out
of the
6 billion people who exist in the world today ? I think all of us at
one time or another have this thought crossing our minds. Sometimes not
even that it crosses, but
that it nests for a little while.
When life gets tough, we feel that G-D is far
away, or that He is too busy to be concerned about our
little problems; be it a problem at work, the little argument I had with my
husband before I left for work this morning. Not getting alone with
my mother, or even about my cold and sinus problem that I can't
seem to shake . I mean those little things in life that we
grow accustomed to, thinking this is all a part of a normal life, so we go
about our daily schedule without the thought of taking a few moments to
pray and talk to G-D about it. Even when we do, we question in our
heart " Does G-D hear me, does He remember, or does he even know who I
am"? REMEMBERING is a skill. Some are blessed by it abundantly, and some
not so much. Some can recite a poem from the 18th century, and some
can't remember what they had for dinner last night. Sad ,but it is true.
Just like everyone else, when I hear a specific word it brings a name to
my mind. For example: when I hear words like:
After G-D's heart, I think
of king David.
Faith, I think of Abraham.
Walking on water, I think of
Yeshua.
Damascus Road, I think of Paul, and so on.
Now listen to
these statements:
Napoleon - who knew thousands of his soldiers by
name.
Charles Schwab - who knew the names of all 8,000 of his employees
at Homestead Mill.
Charles W. Eliot - who, during his forty years as
president of Harvard, earned the reputation of knowing all the students
by name each year.
If you think this is fascinating, wait to hear this.
" For He chose us in Him before the CREATION OF THE WORLD." Eph. 1:4 "
I have summoned you by NAME, you are mine". Isa. 43:1
Wow! Talking
about a memory. Do you know who said that? Adonai Himself ! He said that
to you and me.
Listen with your heart to the words in Psalm 139:13- 16:
" For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's
womb. I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made......my
frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret
place....... Your eyes saw my unformed body, all the days ordained for
me were written in your book before one of them came to be".
Wow!
Meditate on these words for a moment,, can you hear G-D is talking to
you saying, "I saw you even before I formed you, and called you by
name, so how can you doubt for a moment that I don't remember your
name"? " Can a mother forget her baby, and have no compassion on her
child? Even though she may forget, I will not forget you." Isa. 49: 15
Adonai
knew us by name even before He said let there be light, we are not just
creatures roaming the earth for a while trying to make sense of life,
He Created us because He loves us, we are a part of Him. His Ruach Hakodesh (Holy
Spirit ) lives within us.Now how can you be so close to someone and
think that He doesn't remember your name.
Read Rev. 21: 27, who enters
heaven? Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
If the L-RD thinks enough of our names to write each one of them in His
book, do you really still think He forget. the problem my friend is not
that if He remember your name, but are you remembering His ? Do you
reverence His name? Do you praise His name? Do you call on His name?
Miracles happen when we speak the name of Yeshua. Miracles of salvation
and healing. Acts 3:2-8 Rom. 10:13 Deliverance takes place in our lives
when we call on Adonai. Acts 12:1-10. The scriptures say that hell
trembles at the sound of His Name.
Oh if we would just understand the power of
His name, we could say with King David, " Sing to the L-rd a new song, his
praise in the assembly of the saints. Let Israel rejoice in their
Maker, let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
Let them praise
His NAME with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and harp".
Psalm 149:1-3
All Blessings to you today in His Name

LOVED BY G-D
Being in love is the most beautiful feeling for a woman to have. Being
loved unconditionally by someone who loves you just for who you are, no alterations apply. This is so
wonderful !
The greatest thing in the world is love. Nothing rivals it's power to
heal, restore, mend, and make all things new. Genuine love does
not depend on emotions or circumstances, but takes full advantage
of the present to bring meaning and joy to the lives of others.
Look what these men, who were in-love, wrote to there beloved:
Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804
- 1864) . In this letter, the newly married Hawthorne struggles to find the proper words of love to offer his wife.

Dearest, - I wish I had the gift of making rhymes, for
methinks there is poetry in my head and heart since I have been in love with
you. You are a Poem. Of what sort, then? Epic? Mercy on me, no! A sonnet? No;
for that is too labored and artificial. You are a sort of sweet, simple, gay,
pathetic ballad, which Nature is singing, sometimes with tears, sometimes with
smiles, and sometimes with intermingled smiles and tears.
Henry IV of France (1553-1610) was the first
Bourbon king of France. He brought a high degree of unity to a country divided
by religious differences. King of Navarre from 1572 and king of France from
1589, he was a skilled negotiator and a brilliant soldier in the field. This
letter is to Gabrielle d'Estr es From the battle field before Dreux
June 16, 1593
I have waited patiently for one whole day without news of you; I have been
counting the time and that's what it must be. But a second day--I can see no
reason for it, unless my servants have grown lazy or been captured by the enemy,
for I dare not put the blame on you, my beautiful angel: I am too confident of
your affection--which is certainly due to me, for my love was never greater, nor
my desire more urgent; that is why I repeat this refrain in all my letters:
come, come, come, my dear love.
Honor with your presence the man who, if only he were free, would go a
thousand miles to throw himself at your feet and never move from there. As for
what is happening here, we have drained the water from the moat, but our cannons
are not going to be in place until Friday when, God willing, I will dine in
town.
The
day after you reach Mantes, my sister will arrive at Anet, where I will
have the pleasure of seeing you every day. I am sending you a bouquet
of orange blossom that I have just received. I kiss the hands of the
Vicomtess (Gabrielle's sister, Franoise) if she is there, and of my
good friend (his sister, Catherine of Bourbon), and as for you, my dear
love, I kiss your feet a million times.
Now what woman in the world would not like someone to love her and cherish her
and go "gaga" over her the way these men loved their wives? Most if not all of us would say yes.
Where and how can I find a man like this? Who
understands me, who can love me for me. What is this going to cost me ? These are nothing but stories in the pages of
history. My friend please allow me to tell you a little story of
love that changed history itself.
A Prince who loved his beloved from the moment He laid eyes upon her, He opened
His heart to her, she turned her back on Him . Through His kindness He showed her His
love, but it didn't satisfy her and she turned to someone else . She was full with her drunkedness; yet
He came to her, but she didn't even recognize Him. When He explained to her why He came, she
didn't want to hear it, and like before , she turned her back on Him once again.
Seeing her walking in chains-- in the path of death,
His love for her was so strong ,He couldn't let go! For her to
have life , there was only one thing left to do. He had to
take
her place! This is what He did! He released her from
her chains to wear them Himself. He bore her pain, her
shame, not even death made Him stop loving her. He
loved her till death. His letter of love was written in His
blood for her to always remember how much He loved her.
Do you think this is the end of the story? No my
friend, this was only the beginning! Because of His strong
love , even unto death, death could not hold Him.
He promised her one day He would come back like a knight on His white horse, and sweep her off her
feet once again. Only this time He will take her to the place that He prepared only for her ,where she will be safe and
live with Him forever. This is not fiction but a true story. The Prince Himself wrote it years
ago,
His is Yeshua and you are, my friend, His beloved.
YES, YOU.
But you will say you don't know me and what I have done in my life, how
many men I have been with, the shame, the guilt I struggle with. No, not me. I just can't
understand how He can want me again ?
Pray Psalm 51: ".. Against you, you only, have I
sinned and done evil in
your sight.... Cleanse me.. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow...
Restore to me the Joy
of your salvation.... O L-RD, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your
praise.......
The sacrifices of G-D are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O
G-D you will not despise.".
There is nothing you could ever do that would make Him stop
loving you. No place you could ever hide would put you outside the
boundaries of His love. The love of Adonai is beyond our understanding,
even more beyond our imagination,
His love for us is pure, strong, unmovable, and unconditional,
difficult circumstances doesn't change the reality that G-D's love
abounds all around us." for as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him"
Psalm 103:11
In the year 1980, Mount St. Helens in Washington state looked massive and permanent, but in
May of the same year, the 2,300 foot top of that mountain disappeared within
minutes. The blast area of the volcano covered an area of 150 square
miles. What looked so permanent was forever changed,
In Isaiah.
54:10 Adonai said: Though the
mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will NOT be shaken, nor
my covenant of peace be removed, says the L-RD, who has compassion on you.
May G-Ds loving kindness fill you heart today and forever.
