                        Do I need the Messiah?

How can I have a relationship with HaShem; and do I need it in order to be forgiven?
In the book of Vayikra (Leviticus Ch. 4) , the whole chapter concerns the issue of sacrifice and shedding of blood for forgiveness of sins.  This is a permanent regulation that Adonai has set into place.  If there is no sacrifice, then there is no remission or forgiveness of sin.  Therefore, in the absence of blood being shed,  our sins would remain!
The scripture says in Messianic Jews (Hebrews) 9:18-28 ----(18) This is why the the first covenant too was inaugurated with blood. (19) After Moshe had proclaimed every command of the Torah to all the people, he took the blood of the calves with some water and used scarlet wool and hyssop to sprinkle both the scroll itself and all the people; (20) and he said, "This is the blood of the covenant which G-D has ordained for you."
   (21) Likewise, he sprinkled with the blood both the tent  and all the things used in its ceremonies. (22) In fact, according to the Torah, almost everything is purified with blood; indeed, WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS OF SINS
   (23) Now this is how the copies of the heavenly things had to be purified, but the heavenly things themselves require better sacrifices than these.  (24) For the Messiah has entered a holiest place which is not man-made and merely a copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, in order to appear now on our behalf in the very presence of G-D.
   (25) Further, he did not enter heaven to offer himself over and over again, like the cohen hagadol who enters the holiest place year after year with the blood that is not his own; (26) for then he would have had to suffer death many times---from the founding of the universe on.  But as it is, he has appeared once at the end of the ages in order to do away with sin through the sacrifice of himself.  (27) Just as human beings have to die once, but after this comes judgement, (28) so also the Messiah having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to deliver those who are eagerly waiting for him.
So now we see that since the second temple was destroyed in 70 C.E., that no sacrifices have been performed.  How then are we to recieve forgiveness?  The Rabbis have told us that it is now replaced with prayer and works.  That is admirable qualities in one's life , but what G-D has ordained must remain for all eternity.  WITHOUT SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS OF SINS!  PERIOD!  We cannot presuppose  what G-D should do or will do.  We have it written in His Tanakh what He has done and will do. We do not make the rules,   He does.  We only make choices according to what revelation He has chosen to reveal to us.
We need forgiveness of our sins.  The Messiah has provided the way.
Pray to the Father and ask Him to reveal His Son Yeshua, our Messiah, to you. Ask Yeshua into your heart and confess Him as L-RD with your mouth, and you shall become a believer and disciple of Him; as scriptures says, (Romans 10:9-13) that if you acknowledge publicly with your mouth that Yeshua is L-RD and trust in your heart that G-D raised Him from the dead, you will be delivered.  (11)For the passage quoted says that everyone who rests his trust on Him will not be humiliated.
    (12) That means that there is no difference between Jew and Gentile---Adonai is the same for everyone, rich toward eveyone who calls upon Him, (13) since everyone who calls on the name of Adonai will be deliverd.

    01_48_5_webYochanan (John 1:29)

The next day,Yochanan saw Yeshua coming toward him and said, "Look !  G-D's lamb! The one who is taking away the sin of the world!

Who would have believed our report? And to whom hath the L-RD's arm been revealed? For he shot up as a sapling before him, and as a root out of parched earth, he hath neither form nor comeliness that we could see in him; and no appearance that we should desire. He is despised and forsaken of men, a man of pains and acquainted with disease, and as one from whom faces are hidden, despised was he and we esteemed him not. Verily he hath borne our diseases, and our pains; yet we thought him stricken, smitten by G-D, and afflicted. But he was wounded because of our transgressions, he was bruised because of our iniquities; the chastisement of our welfare was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. All of us like sheep we went astray; each man turned to his own way; and the L-RD inflicted upon him the sins of us all.

"But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the L-RD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their G-D, and they shall be My people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, `Know the L-RD,' for they all shall know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the L-RD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more."
